Christy B. Burns, M.A., CCC-A
Christy Burns earned her Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Tennessee in 1995, and her Bachelor of Science from University of Georgia in 1993. Although she was not born in Savannah, she has lived most of here life here. She married a native of Savannah, who is a local Physician Assistant. Her and her husband are very active in their church, Blessed Sacrament, even while raising two wonderful children. Christy is focused on the long term hearing health and wellness of her patients.
Rachel L. Crout, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Crout is a native of Savannah and a Calvary Day School alumna. She earned her Doctor of Audiology in 2015 from Auburn University and her Bachelor of Science from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2011. Many years ago, she completed her observation hours watching the very audiologists who are now proud to be her co-workers. She is an energetic and technology savvy audiologist who loves both science and making a positive difference in her patients lives. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee with her dog, traveling and watching sports.
Trisha L. Dibkey, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Dibkey, originally from the Chicagoland area, earned her Bachelor of Science from Truman State University, her Masters of Arts from the University of Iowa and her Audiology Doctorate from A.T. Still University. She has run numerous marathons and half-marathons, but now enjoys running with her golden-doodle when she is not being the swim taxi for her two boys. She enjoys fine tuning her husband’s hearing aids so he can hear every word she says…and enjoy a better quality of life with better hearing.
Mary Jane McGowan, M.S., CCC-A
Mary Jane earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in 1999 and her Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 2001. A long-time resident of metro Atlanta, she and her husband relocated to Savannah in 2004 and have loved the more relaxed atmosphere ever since. Being the mom to two active boys fills much of her time, but when a free moment presents itself she can usually be found cooking, playing with the family’s two cats, or planning her next travel adventure.
Tamika is our friendly Audiology Department Secretary. She has been with Georgia Ear since 2011. Tamika is a native of Savannah. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration, as well as, a degree in Culinary Arts. She is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and founded her made to order bakery, 2MiniSweetz, LLC. Her passion is baking, but she also enjoys writing poetry and playing board games with her sons.
Kim is our energetic Audiology Technician who has been working with our Audiologists since 2010. She is originally from Sumter, South Carolina but has lived in the Savannah area since 2004. When she is not in the office helping our audiologists she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandchildren. Kim enjoys reading and expressing her creativity with crafts.
